herbalist specialising in Endometriosis.

i've had the surgery and tried numerous pharmaceuticals with varying unpleasant side effects. The latest being possible liver damage (scan pending). While i am 'free' of prescription drugs (other than pain killers) i decided to see a herbalist.
So far i've only been taking the tincture for a few days so it's difficult to say if there's and change -( i also have bronchitis at the moment so feel rubbish any way.)

when i was first diagnosed i looked into the herbal remedy side and promptly bought lots of things from holland & barrett... which are still in my cupboards! I didn't know what i could mix, what would be best etc and i was also being prescribed other treatments by my doc.

so now i've decided to see someone who is qualified in the use of herbs and who also specialises in Endo! like i said, it's only been a few days but she absolutely understands what we go through and wrote her thesis on herbal treatment for endo.
if anyone else is interested here is her website
www.ramsdensremedies.co.uk/

fingers crossed x

Thank you for this post - very interesting. If you're also interested in the role nutrition plays in managing endometriosis Dian Shepperson Mills is very good. She has an excellent book as well as holding clinics in London and East Sussex - I am following her diet and taking natural supplements - fingers crossed!!

that's exactly how i started! it's a great book and i've spoken to Dian a couple of times too. however, although i still follow the diet i did get confused by the different herbal supplements strengths/quantities. my herbalist has also studied Dian's methods and i suppose for me it's easier to take the tincture from her and leave the fine tuning of strengths and quantities to her.
:)
