Hi there, I have the oblong lumps too! Noticed them about 2 months ago but haven't approached my G.P as I've put on about a stone recently (mostly on my stomach and bum!) and having always been really slim bordering on skinny (size 6/8), I just assumed it was cellulite or fat, and that all normal size women have it. Thanks for posting - I'll be making an appointment with my doctor and will let you know what's said :)

P.S Mine don't actually feel like lumps when I touch them, more look like lumps under the skin if that makes sense. Is that what you're experiencing?

im a size 16-18 so i cant really see haha!! but i can feel them! and it hurts when i touch them! and if i lay on my left side really feels like gravity is pulling them in and if i lay on my right side im laying on them, and laying on my back and front is the same, andly way it eases is if i stand up, and i cant sleep like that lol!!!

Could be accumulation of fluid built up around your abdomen and ribs caused from a cyst, when had a cyst in ovary had pain in right rib and any slight pressure on my chest, like my cat laying across it, was too painful to handle. I went to doc and he said that its probably build up in fluid to protect other organs from the cyst - even though it was so far away from my ribs the free floating extra fluid can cause the lumps and pain. x
